6. GAZE FORWARD NOT DOWN

Where your attention goes, your energy flows!
The same thing applies with your gaze (drishti).
Drishti, a Sanskrit term meaning "focused gaze" or "viewpoint," plays a vital role in our arm balances. By fixing our gaze on a specific point, we cultivate concentration which in term helps to stead the body.
In arm balances like Crow Pose, our Drishti should be slightly forward of our hands on the mat, NOT DOWN!
In essence:
Look forward to where you want to fly!
Looking down = going down.
