Most yoga teachers cue arm balances like a checklist: "Hands shoulder-width apart, knees on triceps, engage your core, lift your feet."

Here's what usually happens: You walk into class, do some sun salutations, and then the teacher says "okay, let's try Crow Pose."

But your body isn't ready.
Your wrists aren't prepped to bear weight.

The specific muscle groups you need for the specific arm balance aren't activated.

Arm balances are made up of a bunch of physical actions happening at the same time. Most people jump straight to the pose and then get frustrated when their body can't do all the pieces.

PREP IT does the opposite. You train the exact actions you’ll need in the pose, one at a time, before you ask your body to coordinate them all at once.
